Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all paid products and subscriptions purchased through abbyseo.com ("we," "us," or "our"). By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this policy. This policy supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Digital Product Nature

All paid products offered by Abby SEO are digital goods generated specifically for your website. Because each remediation guide, security report, and monitoring report is custom-produced using your scan data and AI analysis, we cannot resell or repurpose delivered products. This is an important factor in our refund policy.

2. Products Covered

2.1 SEO Remediation Guide (One-Time Purchase)

A platform-specific, AI-generated PDF guide with detailed fix instructions based on your SEO scan results. Currently priced at $8.99 USD.

2.2 Security Remediation Guide (One-Time Purchase)

An AI-generated report covering SSL/TLS, DNS, security headers, cookie security, and other security factors. Currently priced at $14.00 USD.

2.3 SEO + Security Bundle (One-Time Purchase)

A combined package including both the SEO remediation guide and security remediation guide at a discounted rate. Currently priced at $19.99 USD.

2.4 Monthly SEO Monitoring Subscription

A recurring subscription providing monthly automated re-scans, score tracking, and priority fix reports.

2.5 Security Monitoring Subscription

A recurring subscription providing monthly security re-scans, a security dashboard, and security remediation reports.

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Full Refund — Technical Failure

You are entitled to a full refund if any of the following occur:

  • Your guide or report fails to generate after payment (e.g., system error, generation timeout)
  • The delivered PDF is blank, corrupted, or cannot be opened
  • The download link does not work and we cannot re-deliver the product within 48 hours
  • You were charged more than the listed price at the time of purchase
  • You were charged multiple times for the same product due to a payment processing error

Technical failure refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase.

3.2 Full Refund — Subscription Billing Errors

You are entitled to a full refund of the affected charge if:

  • You were charged after successfully cancelling your subscription before the renewal date
  • You were charged a different amount than the subscription rate in effect at the time of renewal

3.3 Partial Refund or Credit — Quality Issues

If your guide or report was delivered successfully but contains significant quality issues, we may at our discretion offer a partial refund or a credit toward a future purchase. Examples of quality issues include:

  • The guide references the wrong website or platform (e.g., WordPress instructions for a Shopify site)
  • A substantial portion of the recommendations are unrelated to your actual scan findings
  • The guide is missing major sections that were advertised

Quality issue claims must be submitted within 14 days of purchase with specific details about the problem.

3.4 Not Eligible for Refund

Refunds are not available in the following situations:

  • Change of mind: You decided you no longer want or need the product after it was delivered
  • Dissatisfaction with scan results: Your website received a low score or more issues were found than expected
  • Implementation outcomes: Following the guide's recommendations did not produce the search ranking or security improvements you expected
  • Website changes: Your website changed after the scan, making some recommendations no longer applicable
  • Duplicate purchase by choice: You purchased a guide for the same website a second time to get updated recommendations
  • Third-party issues: Your hosting provider, CMS, or other tools prevented you from implementing the recommendations
  • Subscription unused: You did not use your monthly scans or priority reports during a billing period
  • Late cancellation: You cancelled a subscription after the renewal date for the current billing period

4. Subscription Cancellation and Refunds

4.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel any active subscription at any time by emailing support@abbyseo.com with the email address associated with your purchase. We will confirm cancellation within 1 business day.

4.2 Effect of Cancellation

When you cancel a subscription:

  • You retain access to all subscription features through the end of your current paid billing period
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation
  • Unused priority reports for the current period do not carry over and are not refundable
  • Previously generated and downloaded reports remain yours to keep

4.3 No Prorated Refunds

We do not issue prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will not receive a refund for the remaining days, but your access continues until the period ends.

5. How to Request a Refund

5.1 Contact Us

To request a refund, email support@abbyseo.com with:

  • The email address used for the purchase
  • The approximate date of purchase
  • The product purchased (SEO guide, security guide, bundle, or subscription)
  • The website URL that was scanned
  • A description of the issue and why you are requesting a refund
  • Screenshots or other evidence if applicable (e.g., corrupted PDF, error messages)

5.2 Response Time

We will acknowledge your refund request within 2 business days and provide a final decision within 5 business days. Complex cases involving quality disputes may take up to 10 business days.

5.3 Refund Method

Approved refunds are processed through Stripe to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days after approval. We do not issue refunds via alternative payment methods, store credit (except as noted in Section 3.3), checks, or cryptocurrency.

6. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving issues directly and promptly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your access to the Service and may delay resolution of your issue.

7. Free Services

The free SEO scanning service does not involve any payment and is therefore not subject to this Refund Policy. For questions or issues with the free service, please contact support@abbyseo.com.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Changes do not apply retroactively to purchases made before the change. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
