Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: April 12, 2026
Abby SEO is committed to ensuring that our website and services are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. As a company that helps businesses improve their web presence, we hold ourselves to the same standards we recommend to our customers.
Our Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These guidelines are developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and define how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
What We Do
We have taken the following steps to ensure accessibility across our Service:
- Semantic HTML: Our pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, form labels, and semantic elements to support screen readers and assistive technologies.
- Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements (links, buttons, forms) are accessible via keyboard navigation without requiring a mouse.
- Color Contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
- Responsive Design: The site is designed to work across screen sizes and supports text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Alternative Text: Images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked as such so screen readers skip them.
- Form Accessibility: All form inputs have associated labels, error messages are clearly identified, and form submission status is communicated to assistive technologies.
- Link Purpose: Links are descriptive and distinguishable from surrounding text. Links that open in new tabs are identified.
- Language: The page language is declared in HTML and our multi-language support uses proper hreflang attributes.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full conformance, we are aware of the following areas where accessibility may be limited:
- PDF Guides: AI-generated remediation guides delivered as PDF files may not be fully accessible to all screen readers. If you need an accessible format, contact us and we will provide the guide content in an alternative format (plain text or HTML).
- Third-Party Content: Some elements loaded from third-party services (payment forms, trust badges) may have accessibility characteristics outside our direct control.
- Dynamic Scan Results: Real-time scan progress indicators may not fully announce status changes to screen readers. Results pages are fully accessible once the scan is complete.
